Yesterday we celebrated World Book Day. We took part in the National Literacy Footy & Booky Quiz 2024. The children enjoyed competing against children from other schools. We then took part in the BBC Teach World Book Day Live Lesson. The children were asked to fill in the front cover on their World of Fiction shelf with a fictional book they had read. The children were asked to think about a subject they would like to know more about and finally they were asked to think about a book they would love to read and explain why. All the children shared their favourite books with the class and there was even time to design a National Book Token.
