Ulster Folk Museum

19th Apr 2024
Today we had a brilliant visit to the Ulster Folk Museum. P3/4 had the chance to visit Coradreenan Farm which is a working farm in the museum. Two lovely ladies Sue and Crystabel showed us around and explained about the Elliott family who lived on the farm. The children had to help the Elliott family with their farm chores. They had to collect eggs(fake ones), shovel hay and do the laundry. As a reward for all their hard work Margaret Elliott let the children try some freshly baked soda bread with homemade butter and jam. It was delicious!

We were all very tired coming home but had a fantastic time and hopefully we can go back for another visit.
