Mount Stewart Biodiversity project
14th Sep 2016
The P6 and P7 classes were lucky enough to be able to attend an exciting and hands-on programme at Mount Stewart on Biodiversity. Today was the first of 6 weeks. We spent all morning outside, learning about terms such as biodiversity, habitat and invasive species. We were taught how to stay safe in woods and how to dress for warmth, comfort and safety.
We also did bug hunting, potion making and identifying trees by looking at their leaves.
We can't wait for next week!!
