Hieroglyphics

P5/6 have been learning all about the Ancient Egyptians this term. Recently we have been looking at how the Egyptians used to write using Hieroglyphics and that the names of important/special people, like kings and queens would have been carved into an oval shaped stone called cartouche.
Everyone had a go at carving their names into their own cartouche using clay. Some hieroglyphs proved more difficult to draw that others.
