Green Day
14th Mar 2025
This week P1/2 enjoyed a visit from the Armagh Rhymers. P1-4 acted out the story of 'The Enormous Turnip' which we then performed for KS2.
We had a week full of environmentally friendly activities in preparation for our green day on Friday. We discussed the ways in which we can protect the environment and on Friday planted our own sunflower seeds and made cress heads. P1/2 also enjoyed some outdoor play in the lovely weather!
This week we continued our topic 'People Who Help Us', exploring the roles and responsibilities of vets. P1/2 enjoyed painting vehicles which belong to different people who help us.
On Friday everyone made beautiful shamrock silhouettes for St Patrick's Day.
