As our numeracy topic focus at the minute is measuring and weighing, we did some practical application today and attempted to make apple crumble in a slow cooker. Here are some pictures of the kids helping and the finished product. It tasted delicious and everyone enjoyed it so much that most of us had second helpings. The children renamed it Apple Sludge! The consistency wasn't right but the taste made up for it!
