As part of the Food topic, P1/2 got to go to Tesco. They saw around the main shop, were given a shopping list of things to find. They saw the cheese, meat and fish counters. Then, they got to go behind the scenes, and saw the in-store bakery, where they got to smell the yeast used to make bread (yucky!) and see the ovens and taste the final product (yummy!). They all loved the slicing machine for slicing the bread! They also got to visit the cold storage area (really cold!) and saw ice cream and pizza! It was great fun.
