A visit from the Fire Brigade
1st Dec 2016
On Thursday 1st December, P5/6 had a visit from the local fire brigade. Justin, Jake, Craig, Phil and Dave told us what the main causes of house fires are and how to avoid them. They also told us about the importance of fire/smoke alarms, having a bedroom routine and planning your escape route out of the house in the case of a fire. They also reminded us what to do if there is a fire:
GET OUT
STAY OUT
GET THE FIRE BRIGADE OUT
We were all given a pack to take home. Then, we got to go outside to sit in the fire engine and fire the hose (at the empty playground!).
